A library "devoted to the advancement of knowledge of furniture. The only stone house in the area was of Dr. C.S. Grayson House, which now serves as the Furniture Library. The library serves as the world's largest collection of books on history of Furniture. With questions such as what style is my furniture, and what is the best way to care for my antique furniture can all be answered at the Furniture Library. Also, there is a wide assortment of books about furniture, furniture design, decorating, and much more. One book is incased with actual real human skin. With High Point, being the ?Home Furnishings Capital of the World? ? the Furniture Library comes into good use. The Library is open year-round for the convenience of everyone and there are special tours available and it costs absolutely nothing to come and take a look.
